Accommodation

Timbers Country Lodge is a Restaurant with rooms and the accommodation (all with en-suite facilities) comprises of wooden chalets, log cabins and a cottage outside of the main Grade II listed Barn Restaurant and Bar, with plenty of free parking. 

The complex is quirky with its own unique personality and charm. 

If you enjoy the countryside and something different from the conventional hotel setup, then Timbers Country Lodge may be the ideal Bed and Breakfast for you for that Business trip or Weekend Break away. 

To confirm availability or to book a room, please contact us we will respond to your email request with 24 hours. 

Timbers Country Lodge is not any old B&B; it is also a fantastic all-inclusive venue for your Wedding, Event, Celebration, Corporate party and Business meeting. 

*Please note, it is advisable to ask our reception if we are holding a wedding or event during the weekend you wish to stay. You may wish to book a quiet weekend without the noise of celebrations.

All rooms are equipped with: en-suite shower room, flat screen television, Free Wifi, toiletries, towels, hair dryer, mirror, iron and ironing board, and tea, coffee and biscuits *Deluxe Suites consist of a sofa bed.

CHECKING IN

Check in times are between 2:30pm – 9:30pm. If an earlier check-in is required, please contact reception on the day of arrival to confirm the availability of your room. 

Our reception is not open 24 hours. 

If for any reason your expected time of arrival is delayed and outside of our standard check-in times above, please inform reception as soon as possible in order to make the necessary arrangements. 

CHECKING OUT

The standard check-out time is 10.30am. If for any reason you need a later check out, please speak to reception on the day you arrive. 

PAYMENT

Full payment is expected during the booking process 

Please note, any advanced bookings such as reservations for wedding guests or private events, need to be paid in full at the time of making the reservation. 

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you cancel prior to 12pm the day before you were due to arrive, there will be a cancellation charge of £20 per night, per room, the remainder will be refunded. If you cancel any time after 12pm. the day before you were due to arrive, there will be no refund, the cancellation fee will be the full room charge for the nights booked. 

BOOKING ONLINE

Booking on line is not 100% fail safe. Systems can fail or network faults can occur at the time of booking. We therefore advise guests to book direct by phoning our reception on 01366 347747 especially if you are booking in advance for attending a wedding or event. 

Phoning reception direct is the safest way to guarantee and secure your reservation. 

Should any on-line Booking System failures occur, they are dealt with to the best of our ability by speaking directly with the system owners, our receptionist is not to blame.

SOFA BEDS & baby cots

Some rooms have a double sofa bed in the living room; if you require a room with a sofa bed, please specify when booking.

There is a £20.00 charge for the use of a sofa bed, which will be made up with bed linen ready for your arrival.

Baby cots are not supplied. Parents are welcome to bring their own travel cots as long as it is reported to reception for noting on our system.  Timbers Country Lodge cannot be held responsible for any accidents or damage with personal baby equipment. 

Breakfast is served

Breakfast is £10.00 per person**

Serving a traditional Full English  breakfast, along with a choice of Pastries, Fruits,
Cereals, Yoghurt, Toast, Juices and Beverages

**Children under 2yrs eat free, children aged 3yrs to 8yrs £5.00,
Children over 8yrs are charged at full adult price

Breakfast hours are: 
7am – 9am  Monday to Friday,
8:30am – 10am Saturday & Sunday
